How we look after your data
This page is maintained by the JWC Health & Fitness team to answer common questions about security, privacy and how we use the information you give us. It is editable project content, not an independent certification.
Accounts & sign-in
Members sign in with an email address and password, or with a Google account. Passwords are never stored in plain text — we use the authentication service that ships with our hosting platform, which stores them in hashed form.
If you forget your password you can request a reset link from the member login page. Only the email address on file can trigger a reset.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number so we can contact you about bookings, classes and membership.
- Booking and attendance records for Group PT, HYROX Sim sessions and Contrast Recovery.
- Optional information you give us through forms, surveys or your consultation, including health and training notes where relevant to your goals.
- Basic technical information (such as device type) needed to deliver the website.
We do not sell your information to third parties.
Payments
Card payments for HYROX Sim and Contrast Recovery bookings are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number, expiry date or CVC — Stripe handles those details directly and returns only a reference and confirmation to us.
Security controls in place
- Row-level security on member and booking tables, so signed-in users only see data that belongs to them.
- Admin areas are gated behind staff sign-in and role checks on the server.
- Communications between your browser and our site are encrypted with HTTPS.
- Internal backup tables are not reachable through the public API.
These describe the controls we have configured in the JWC application; they are not a claim of any external certification or audit.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- See the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is out of date.
- Delete your member account and associated personal data, subject to records we are required to keep for accounting or safeguarding reasons.
- Stop receiving non-essential emails or messages.
