More Than a Traditional Gym
JWC Health & Fitness is an established coach-led training facility in Holmes Chapel. Since 2016, we've helped local people become stronger, fitter and healthier through high-quality coaching, honest advice and genuine relationships.
We're not a traditional open gym. Every session is coached, every member is known by name and our team plays an important part in creating the supportive experience our members value.
We're currently recruiting for two different positions. Both involve delivering excellent Group Personal Training, but the level of hours and wider business responsibility differs.
Available Roles
Two genuine opportunities for qualified Personal Trainers. Choose the one that matches the hours and level of responsibility you're looking for.
Part-Time Group PT Coach
A coaching-focused position for someone who wants to deliver excellent sessions and build a Personal Training client base without being responsible for sales or the wider commercial side of the business.

A broader full-time position combining Group Personal Training, member support, sales activity, relationship building and the opportunity to develop a substantial PT client base.

Part-Time Group PT Coach — Full Details
The Role
This role is centred on what you do best: coaching people.
You'll deliver approximately 8–12 Group Personal Training sessions each week on an agreed, consistent rota. You'll be responsible for creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive experience while following JWC's established session structure and coaching standards.
There is no expectation for you to take responsibility for sales, lead follow-up or wider business development.
Alongside your Group PT hours, you'll have the opportunity to build your own one-to-one Personal Training client base at JWC. You'll earn 40% commission on every PT session you deliver, with practical support from JWC to help you attract and retain clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging and inclusive Group Personal Training sessions
- Coaching members of different ages, abilities and experience levels
- Following JWC's programming, systems and coaching standards
- Helping members train safely and effectively
- Creating a positive and welcoming member experience
- Building your own Personal Training client base (some growth is expected)
- Communicating reliably with the wider coaching team

Full-Time Coach & Business Development Lead — Full Details
The Role
Love coaching people? Enjoy building relationships? Want more than just delivering sessions?
This full-time role combines Group Personal Training, member growth and one-to-one Personal Training across 36 salaried hours each week.
It goes well beyond delivering sessions: you'll carry genuine responsibility for member growth, sales conversations and the commercial success of the facility — meeting prospective members, following up enquiries, reactivating previous members and building local relationships.
One-to-one Personal Training is delivered within your guaranteed salaried hours as you develop your own PT client base.
What You'll Be Doing

- Conducting consultations with prospective members
- Following up new enquiries
- Reconnecting with previous members
- Helping new members feel comfortable and supported
- Supporting member retention
- Generating referrals
- Developing local relationships and partnerships
